Nikon COOLPIX L810

I am happy to say that I will no longer be sharing pictures with awful quality with all of you anymore. Yesterday I received this camera as a gift from my lovely grandparents and my father. No, it's not the best camera there is, but it's exactly what I needed to not only get started with my dream of being a photographer, but it's also going to help me really get my blog looking how I want it to!

How was everyone else's Christmas? I hope you all had an amazing day :) Much love, Vilda!

Collars

Over the last few months I've grown very fond of collars. It might be because I'm forced to wear one every day at school, or maybe because almost every shirt in stores nowadays consists of some form of a collar. Regardless of the reason, their now a highlight in my closet.

Now my life is sweet like cinnamon

Hey loves! How's everyone doing? Sadly, I'm not doing too well. I caught the virus that's been going around and have been laying in bed for the past two days. I think I've drowned myself in tea in efforts to get better.

I've been listening to the lovely Lana Del Ray's music all day. I recently discovered my new favorite song; Radio. I can't help but get goosebumps when I listen to it. Her lyrics are just too good and her velvety voice makes her irresistible.

Coming soon!

Today, one of my very best friends, Kristina Laygo, took photos of me. I'm super excited, because she's a great photographer and I can't wait to see how they turn out.

Into the Arctic

With every minute that passes by, my longing for bitter, cold, winter weather keeps getting stronger. Even though I hate actually being cold, I love bundling up in heaps of blankets with hot cocoa, preferably in front of a fire. I love the feeling of relief when you finally reach the warm comfort of your home after a day in the freezing cold. And I absolutely adore snow. Maybe I'm just nostalgic for the Christmas times in Sweden...

Since the unreliable Savannah weather isn't going to satisfy my craving for cold, these pictures might do me justice. Much love, Vilda!

Camel

Camel
Happy Monday! So, my current obsession right now, is Camel. I love the rich, warm color, and I've been looking for ways to incorporate it into my wardrobe. What do you guys think? Do you love, or hate it?

A Very She & Him Christmas

Now that it's finally December, I've broken out the Christmas music for real. Christmas is probably my favorite holiday because it just evokes that fuzzy, warm, cozy feeling. In Danish, we have a word for it, hygge, but there's no English translation that fully covers it. Anyways, One of my absolute favorite ways to get in the spirit, is Christmas music. Right now, I'm seriously addicted to She & Him's Christmas album, A Very She & Him Christmas. It's the most perfect Christmas album ever. Normally, I hate it when artists make Christmas albums, because I almost always prefer the old originals, but this time, they've proven me wrong.
Enjoy! Helena.

Christmas Sweaters

So, I'm on a Christmas sweater kick. Actually, I'm just on a Christmas kick in general. But anyways, I've been pintresting them and browsing them on tumblr and I think I'm in love. Planning on making a trip to Goodwill soon to look for one. Savannah also has a great vintage shop that may have just what I'm looking for. Be on the lookout for a new in post when/if I find one!

If Nothing Ever Changed, There'd Be No Butterflies

Happy Saturday! So, yesterday, something big happened. Can you guess what it was? There'll be a post tomorrow on it!
Goodnight, Helena.

Baby It's Cold Outside

Baby It's Cold Outside

Well, not really in Savannah, but in two weeks I'll be on a plane to Copenhagen. I've been on a serious hunt for a new winter coat. Here's a couple I've been looking at.
Kisses, Helena.
