Chill

I don't think worse quality pictures exist, but here are a couple of photobooth pics for you guys, from my chill Sunday at home. I've just been around the house all day, video-chatting with my wonderful class from camp, and doing homework, which is exactly what I'm about to go do, except I got a little sidetracked with the computer... oops. Well, I'm dreading tomorrow; my weekends are becoming more and more sacred to me this year. How was everyone's weekend??? I hope they were great!
Kisses, Helena.

The Beauty Department

Usually, If I ever decide to change my makeup or hair up, and stray from my everyday routine, the idea comes from this website. It's chock full of inspiration, easy-to-follow tutorials, and is co-owned by one of my favorite fashion and beauty inspirations, Lauren Conrad. Of course, I'm obsessed with the style of the stuff they do, but I also LOVE the way their photos are set up. The picture tutorials accompanied witht he text make it so easy to do the hairstyles, nails and makeup they show. I just wanted to share them with you guys, because they are one of the most helpful things in the world when I run out of ideas, or am having a bad hair day. They're also really great for cute, fun, and not to mention really handy tricks for beauty. You can find the website here.
Kisses, Helena.

In a perfect world...

These would be mine.
I'd have a magical tree house.
I'd be just a few inches taller.
I'd be going to Paris with Helena.
I'd wake up in this bed every morning.
There would be no such thing as homelessness, poverty, and starvation.
I'd be in Sweden right now.
It'd be cold enough to wear big chunky scarves.
I'd be the owner of all of these wonderful items.
I'd never grow up.
We all have different wants and cravings that we associate with a perfect world. Here are a few things that would make this world just a little bit better for me. Kisses, Vilda :)

Sweet Saturday

Forever 21 blouse, Gap Jeans, H&M Flats, Vintage Bag, Urban Outfitters Glasses

Urban Outfitters Skirt, shirt &glasses, H&M Bag, Forever 21 shoes

Happy Saturday Everyone!!! So, after breakfast at the Bakery, we headed on our bikes downtown to our local farmer's market at Forsyth Park. It's always lovely to take a walk through the park and see what the booths have going on. We bought cheese and some beautiful Zinnias (which sadly wilted pretty bad by the time we got home.) Then we biked down to a cute little french cafe called Papilote, for lunch. Photo Credits: Jordan Veitinger and his amazing new iPhone 5, which we're both thoroughly jealous of...
Much love, Vilda and Helena.

Brunch

Good morning! After last night we all headed home and slept in our own beds. Now that our schedules are so busy with school, our hours of sleep during the weekend are sacred.

We're currently at Back in the Day having brunch. Cinnamon buns and pumpkin crunch bars sounds like a perfect start to a beautiful Saturday, wouldn't you agree?

The farmer's market is next on our agenda, and then who knows what our daily adventure's will be! Much love, Vilda and Helena :)

Dinner?

After the cookout we headed downtown to meet up with Jordan. We stopped by Leopold's and got "dinner", if ice-cream could ever be considered dinner. We're currently sitting in Starbucks admiring Jordan's new iPhone 5. Hope you're all doing well, goodnight :)
Kisses, Vilda and Helena!

Today's outfit

This is what I'm wearing to the cookout tonight. I haven't gotten a chance to wear these lovely pants in a while, but tonight's casual event is a perfect venue.

Thank God it's Friday!

Good morning <3
I'm currently sitting here eating the usual yogurt parfait for breakfast and I'm so relieved that its finally Friday! I have a very relaxing weekend planned. I don't have any major plans but I'm going to make the best of it! Do you guys have any exciting plans coming up?
Much love, Vilda.

Everyday

I just got back from shopping with my mother. I was in dire need of new uniform pieces... I got some really cute things, and can't wait to show you guys! I'll make a post soon. Right now, I've got some hot chocolate to drink and some AP US history homework to do.

Pumpkin Spice Latte...finally

Hello darlings! I'm having a wonderful day today. I had a good day at school, don't have a lot of homework, got to see my grandma, and am currently sitting outside of Starbucks drinking the Pumpkin Spice Latte with my mom. I've been waiting for it for months now, and all I can say is it was definitely worth the wait. It's just so good. Oh, and I can't forget about the weather. It's absolutely perfect! I'm gonna go spend some time with my mom now. I hope you're all doing well :)

10 things you didn't know about me

1. I'm a mommy's girl. Always have been and always will be!
2. I have very high standards for myself when it comes to academics. I have always been what you could call an "overachiever".
3. I am very healthy. I always try to make healthy choices daily and love to exercise. This, however, does not mean that I won't indulge in something unhealthy from time to time. In fact, I have quite the sweet tooth.
4. I live for cold weather. I love the clothes, food, colors, and basically everything related to the fall and winter months. Maybe that's just the Scandinavian part of me shining through. ;)
5. I love baking and cooking. Thanks to my mom, I'm now very experienced in the kitchen and can actually cook a variety of meals and bake plenty of delicious treats.
6. I am extremely indecisive and anyone that knows me well enough would agree. Not as much with big life decisions, even though I have no clue what I'm gonna do when I'm older, but with little things like choosing what to eat or what to wear.
7. I have an obsession with sweet potatoes. Sweet potato fries, sweet potato pancakes, my dads sweet potato casserole...mmm! I love it all. In fact, we had sweet potato soup for dinner tonight!
8. I have an extra bone in each foot. Weird, I know.
9. I can never keep my finger nails painted for periods longer than a few days. I eventually just start to pick at them and end up peeling off all of the nail polish. Its sad because I absolutely love painted nails!
10. Tsunamis, and any natural disasters for that matter, scare me to death. It makes me shiver even thinking about it!

Inspirations and Update

Hey Again! I'm not at all in the mood to wear cute clothes at the moment, so for now, you'll have to do with some rather dull inspiration pictures. They're all form my tumblr, which I can be seriously addicted to sometimes. Heres a little update from my personal life for you guys.
1. I got a spot in the ensemble of the school musical. Which is cool, and I like doing shows, but my life just got a whole lot more hectic, and my schedule just got a whole lot tighter. Oh well.
2. If you haven't already heard/seen, I'M GOING TO PARIS!
3. I reallllyy need to catch up on sleep this weekend. ha! too bad I chose an AP class.
4. I'm really excited, because this weekend I have actual plans! Yay!
5. What kind of things would you guys like to see from us here on the blog?? We're always open to new ideas!

Kisses, Helena.

A living croquis

I've been looking through various pictures online to get inspiration for my own personal croquis, which for those of you who don't know is a fashion illustration of a model. The word croquis actually means "sketch" in French. Anyways, I came across a few pictures of Lindsey Wixon. Her unique features, with her pouty lips and huge blue eyes, reminded me exactly of how I want my croquis to look!

Stressful day!

Hey loves! This morning when I woke up the first thought that popped into my head was "I can't wait for the school day to be over already". Pretty sad, right? Getting my day started on that note would have just caused a bad day in general, so I got up and pushed the thought out of my head as quickly as it had popped up.

I'm finally home after an extremely stressful day at school. I had three tests today and felt like I didn't even have time to breath. Looking at the bright side though, I have half of the day still in front of me so I better make the best of that!

I hope you're all having a great day, if you're not, pick your head up and give yourself a second to breath. Besides, we've already made it halfway through the week! Much love, Vilda :)

My Babies!

I am IN LOVE with these killer heels I bought for the wedding, and I thought I'd share them with you. They're bought in Denmark, in Bianco for 399 DKK.
Kisses, Helena.

A model in the making

My little sister came into my room today and showed me an outfit that she had put together. It gave me the idea of putting together a post about the style choices of an 8 year old. I told her to pick three of her favorite fall outfits.
She was super exciting about being featured on the blog and still won't stop bragging about it to our parents. Here are a few of the better pictures from today's little photo shoot. Isn't she precious?
