I'm Finally Here.

Sorry for this mediocre at best random photo, but it's all I've got the energy for now. After a looooong trip, I'm finally at my Grandparent's home. Let me tell just how long that trip was, I don't think you understand how much I'm not exaggerating. My mom and I got up at 5.30 AM in Savannah, to catch the 8.30 to Atlanta. Because my mom is i flight attendant, we fly non-rev, which means we're on standby, which means we only get seats on the plane if they are available. We ended up not getting on a flight to Atlanta until 10, and having to run to catch the flight in Atlanta to Laguardia. We just made it. In Laguardia, when we had gotten my suitcase, we discovered that it had been broken. yay. Since I'm going to be out of school for so long, I've got most of my textbooks with me, and they were so heavy that they crushed the handle of my suitcase. So, my mom and I carried the broken suitcase out to the taxi in Laguardia, and drove to JFK. Once in JFK we decided to eat something, since it was almost four o'clock, and we'd only eaten breakfast. Then, we took the shuttle to the terminal, and I said goodbye to my mom, and boarded the plane. One perk of being standby, is that when you do get on the plane, it's most likely in business class, because that's where there are the most seats. It was so nice to sit down and not have to get up for seven hours. I also watched Brave, so that was nice. Such a cute movie.  When we landed in Copenhagen, I had to get my suitcase, and take my textbooks out, so my suitcase wasn't so heavy that I had to pay for it on the domestic flight. Then, I went on to the domestic terminal (carrying my suitcase.) and had to wait a while on my 10.45 flight to Aalborg. Forty-five minutes later, I was so grateful to be done flying for the day. My grandfather picked me up at the airport and we drove about 20 minutes to his and my grandmother's house, where I am now. Happy to be situated. Also, I finally got my Raybans!!! I'll make a post soon for you guys!
