Cozy

Hey guys, so most of my day today has consisted of laying around watching old cheesy 80's and 90's movies, which of course isn't too bad ;) But, I'm sick, so that makes it a little less enjoyable. So, my illness inspired me to create a little polyvore with cozy warm clothes, which is what I feel like wearing. Enjoy!

Halloween

Can you believe that Halloween is just two days away? I can hardly believe that it's even October! Regardless, I'm oh so very excited. Helena and I skipped out on the Halloween parties this weekend because we just didn't have it in us, but there's no way we're skipping out on Trick or Treating. We've come to the conclusion that you can never be too old for that. What I'm mostly excited about, even more so than the actual Trick or Treating, is my costume! No, I haven't actually started making it yet but considering the fact that my mom is a seamstress, that shouldn't be too much of a problem. Helena and I are dressing up together, but you won't find out what we're dressing up as till the night of the 31st. You're just gonna have to wait and see! ;)

We're back!

Hey guys, so we've both come to the consensus that we've really been slacking on updating our blog lately. This past week has been crazy; rehearsals every day and loads of homework while trying to keep some level of sanity. This weekend was a much needed break from reality, we stayed home, watched Disney classics, and ate plenty of comfort food. Can't complain about that, don't you agree? Today we went to the Jewish Food Festival together, and while walking back to the car, we passed by this adorable house, and decided to take some long overdue outfit pictures. We promise that from now on we're going to be churning out way more posts for you guys!

Hey guys, I have a free period today, and I have so much work to do, but I have none of it with me, so I've just been on my phone looking at old pictures. I came across the pictures I took on my phone this summer while I was in Denmark. I miss it so much. I miss my sister, and my friends and the. Weather and the food, and, well, just about everything. Someone take me back to this summer?

Inspiration

In order to be enrolled at my school, Savannah Arts Academy, you had to audition with a certain arts major. I have always had a passion for visual arts, but when the time came for auditions last year I took the easy way out and auditioned for theater. In all honesty, I purely lacked the needed motivation for preparing for a visual arts audition. Ever since the first day of being a theater major I regretted my decision. However, all hope is not lost. All students are given the chance to change their major by re-auditioning in February. Although its a huge commitment and will take hours of work, this is what I plan to do.

I've been looking all over for needed inspiration; on various websites (Pinterest of course), at school, and at art exhibits. Yesterday my mom brought me to a local exhibit. The artwork was set up in several themed rooms, including a room for birth, adulthood, decomposition, and death. It was wonderful.

Maroon

Maroon is one of my favorite fall colors, so when I saw these high waisted maroon jeans at Urban I instantly fell in love. They fit perfectly and are really comfortable. I can already tell that they're going to be a highlight in my wardrobe this fall considering that I've already worn then twice since Thursday.

Hey loves! This is what I've been wearing today. The weather has been absolutely perfect all day, not too hot or too cold. I decided that a light button down would work perfectly. The one I'm wearing is sadly Helena's and I'm dreading giving it back. Maybe I'll keep it for just a bit longer... ;)

Ingrid Michaelson

Hey guys! I'm currently sitting in class struggling to keep my eyes open. I didn't get to bed until 12 yesterday because of the concert, which was absolutely amazing. I had such a great time with the lovely people I was with and Ingrid herself was way better than I had expected. Not only was she a phenomenal singer, but she was like a standup comedian! In between almost every song she would just start talking and everyone in the audience would just burst out in laughter. It was great. I didn't get a chance to take too many pictures, so these are going to have to do. Kisses, Vilda.

Good morning! :)
I got sent to the uniform closet at school this morning and am currently wearing a skirt that looks like its three sizes too big. Have you ever heard of getting detention because your skirt is more than three inches above the knee? It's ridiculous, I know. That was a rather rough start to my day but on a brighter note, my mom took me to Starbucks this morning. I've been bouncing off the walls all day, it was a much needed caffeine kick. Hopefully I won't crash before it's time for the Ingrid Michaelson concert tonight, which I'll tell you all about later. I also got a chance to put a smile on Jordan's face by getting him his favorite, a pumpkin spice latte.

Papillote

Hi darlings :) After school today we headed downtown for our little "date", which we've been planning on all week. We decided to go to Papillote, a cute French cafe, for their delicious macaroons. The flavors included raspberry, black currant, and lemon custard. We indulged in all three, and they did not disappoint!

We're now heading down the street to Urban Outfitters to look for some inspiration. There will sadly be no shopping today because neither of us have the money. Oh well, maybe one day we'll actually be able to afford what that paradise of a store has to offer. A girl can dream. Much love, Vilda and Helena!

Just another day

Hey lovelies! Today has been a rather laid back day for me. I've been sitting at home for the past hour scrolling down on my tumblr dashboard. I haven't been on tumblr in ages. Since I hardly even have time for myself anymore, it's not too much of a shock that I don't have time to waste on websites like that. I found numerous inspirational pictures though, some of which I shared with you all above, so I guess you could say that I got something out of wasting time. I've pushed back my homework and studying, naturally. I think I'm actually going to try and get some designing done. Ha, the life of a procrastinator. It's Magic!!

Hey guys! So, this Saturday, I went to the sephora here in savannah, and I got a bottle full of pure magic. I swear, this is by far one of the coolest things I've ever seen. What is this dark magic I speak of? Sephora's instant nail polish remover. You put your finger in it, and in 60 seconds, it comes out clean! It doesn't smell at all either! I love it, and highly recommend that you try it!

For fall

My whole summer consisted of me planning on what I'm going to wear in the fall, but now that fall is actually here, I feel like I have nothing to wear. Every time I get dressed for an event I end up wearing something resembling summer far too much. That's not exactly a problem considering that the weather allows for that, but still! You may be thinking to yourself that there's a simple solution to not having clothes; go buy some! There's just one problem, I currently have less than 20 dollars in my wallet. However, all hope isn't lost. I managed to dig out a few pieces from my closet that would be suitable for the season. What do you think?

Today

Hey lovelies! The weekend is already over, it feels like it flew by! On the bright side though, we had a wonderful day at the park today. We've decided to make it a Sunday tradition as long as the weather agrees. Along with that, we've basically finalized ours plans for the entire month of October! It's going to be great :)
